We are so excited to share our upcoming Wedding with you at Hotel Xcaret Mexico in gorgeous Playa del Carmen, Mexico. Your presence at our wedding means the world to us! As a reminder, the wedding ceremony will be held on Friday, February 26. 2027.
We have set up a wedding room block with the resort, specific to our group, and DFY Travel (Destinations For You Travel) is handling all the logistics.
To be considered a part of the Norville Takeoff 27 Wedding Group, you must book through this group room block and not through any other method (even directly with the hotel). Other than the wedding ceremony, to participate in any of the wedding-related activities, you must stay at Hotel Xcaret Mexico as part of the Wedding Group.

A deposit of $250 Per Person is required to reserve your room. This deposit payment must be paid at booking and your reservation will be made within 72 hours of your submission. Save the Space payments will be applied to your final balance.

Thursday, September 24, 2026, is the deadline to get an available room in the room block. Any reservations requested after that date have will be pending until availability and rate are confirmed. Room availability and contracted rates are not guaranteed.

A payment equal to 2 nights of your trip is due by Thursday, September 24, 2026. The resort reserves the right to cancel the reservation if payment is not made by this date.

If your reservation is impacted by date availability and a difference in contracted rates, we will communicate this information to the guest before any confirmation or charges are made for extra nights outside the room block.
Cancellation Policy

Booking - 9/25/26: $100 per person (if you cancel your reservation or remove a guest(s) from the reservation

After 9/26/26: 100% of the room total in the case of full reservation cancellation or 100% of the removed guest total.

If you have travel insurance you can file a claim to get a refund based on their terms

Additionally, the resort will not allow the following modifications/changes to your reservation on or after November 4, 2026:

Downgrading a room category

Decreasing the number of nights in your reservation

Removing a guest from your reservation (reducing the occupancy level in your room)
This resort will not allow any changes, including name changes, to your reservation after January 15, 2027.
What can you do with your reservation between November 4, 2026, and January 15, 2027?

Upgrade your room category, if an upgraded room category is available.

Add extra nights, if additional nights are available.

Add an additional guest or make a name change.
The resort will not provide a credit or voucher for future travel if you arrive after your scheduled arrival date, if you check out early, or do not travel on the dates selected for this reservation for any reason.
ANY changes to the reservation, even within the allowed modification window, may result in a fee; refer to the cancellation policy for terms. Additionally, all modifications must be made in writing to concierge@destinationsforyoutravel.com. No changes are accepted via phone call/voicemail.
If you do not purchase travel insurance and have to cancel your reservation, you may still have to pay for part or the full amount of your reservation.
If you purchased travel insurance and have to cancel, you will be refunded by the travel insurance company according to the travel insurance guidelines, but you are still responsible for the $100 per person cancellation fee.
Once a reservation is booked there is a $100 per person cancellation fee with no regard to the reason for the cancellation. This cancellation fee cannot be reapplied to a later re-booking.
Protect Your Investment
As much as we hope that each booking results in a seamless travel experience, various circumstances can stand in your way of a smooth journey.
Travel Insurance can minimize the risks associated with traveling. Depending on the insurance policy, maximum coverage is typically provided when you purchase your policy 7-14 days after deposit.
Not purchasing travel insurance could result in the loss of your travel cost and/or require more money to correct the situation. Without insurance, there may be no way to recoup any losses, costs, or expenses incurred and the price of travel insurance IS NOT included in the price of the room selections and is non-refundable once purchased.
Having travel insurance is definitely important and we recommend it for everyone. However, the option to purchase travel insurance is solely up to you and you may purchase it through any insurance company you would like.

Travel Insured offers a very comprehensive policy called the “Worldwide Trip Protector” plan with optional add-ons like CFAR (Cancel For Any Reason)* (not available in NY)

If you want the CFAR (Cancel for Any Reason) benefit you will have to add it to the policy and you must purchase the insurance no later than 14 days from the day you make your initial payment.

The basic “Worldwide Trip Protector” plan, which does not include the CFAR can be purchased at any time, including after 14 days from the time you paid your initial payment but it will not cover the Pre-Existing Condition Exclusion Waiver or the Bankruptcy/Default of an airline, cruise line, tour operator or other travel providers. However, you can still cancel and potentially get up to a 100% refund as long as it’s a covered reason.

What's the Difference
At Hotel Xcaret Mexico, the Adults-Only Suites are located in two different buildings, Casa Fuego and Casa Agua (Spa rooms). These two sections of the resort only allow guests aged 18 and above. If you stay in a different room category other than an Adults-Only room category you will not have access to these buildings.
Casa Fuego Adults-Only room categories include the following additional perks:

Additional Nights Stay
If you would like to arrive earlier than Thursday, February 25, 2027, or stay past Sunday, February 28 2027, please let us know when you fill out the room reservation form.

Adding Nights/Guests Upon Arrival at Hotel
As soon as the first person from the group has arrived at the resort we are not allowed to add extra nights or guests to your reservation. You will have to go to the front desk to add them.
NOTE: the resort will not honor the contracted room rates and you will have to pay whatever the current room rate is at that time.
Ground Transportation
Included in your reservation is Hotel Xcaret’s shuttle transportation from the Cancun (CUN) or Tulum (TQO) Airport to Hotel Xcaret and back to the airport.
*Gratuities are not included*
Please note: the transportation will not transfer guests to the resort nor will the resort accept guests prior to 9:00 AM on the day of check-in.
For Cancun International Airport (CUN) – Transportation to the resort and back to the airport will already be reserved for you, as long as you provide us (DFY Travel) with your flight info by Jan 5, 2027. Transportation operates every 30 minutes from 9:00 AM through 5:00 PM, and every 60 minutes from 5:00 PM to 9:00 AM.
For Tulum International Airport (TQO) – You must reserve your transportation to the resort and back to the airport directly with Hotel Xcaret two weeks before your travel dates. DFY Travel cannot set up transportation for you from Tulum. Contact Hotel Xcaret Guest Services at dxguestservice@hotelxcaret.com.
ARRIVALS
After clearing customs and collecting your luggage, proceed outside the airport and look for the resort’s transportation staff who will be holding a sign that says “Hoteles Xcaret” (see picture below). You must exit the arrival hall bypassing all representatives inside the airport trying to get your attention. These representatives are there to sell time-share and may be a representative for your hotel, but are not your transportation provider.

DEPARTURE
Please see the Concierge desk at least one day before departure to register for your transfer back to the airport. The customer service telephone number is +011 52 (984) 159-1600.
IMPORTANT:

Hotel Xcaret’s included shuttle transportation ONLY offers service from the Cancun (CUN) Airport or Tulum (TQO) Airport to Hotel Xcaret and back to the airport.

This transportation is a complimentary service that is included in your reservation rate and has no cash value, so there are no reductions in price or refunds if the transportation is not used.

The shuttle WILL NOT drop you off or pick you up at any other location other than Hotel Xcaret Mexico/Arte and the Cancun (CUN) Airport or Tulum (TQO) Airport.

Shuttle transportation services are only provided for your actual check-in and check-out dates (this is strongly enforced by checking boarding passes of all guests). If you arrive in the area any date earlier than your check-in date or depart any day later than your check-out date you will need to arrange your own transportation to wherever you are going and to/from Hotel Xcaret Mexico on your actual check-in/check-out dates.

If you plan to go anywhere other than the Cancun (CUN) Airport or Tulum (TQO) Airport on your official resort departure day, you will be responsible for managing your own transportation. Check-out is at 12 PM but you can stay and access the resort (not the parks) until 6 PM on your check-out date. Hotel Xcaret offers luggage storage until you depart. Late check-outs must be requested directly with the resort once you arrive. DFY Travel cannot make this request for you.

Once you depart the resort on your departure date, you will no longer be able to access the resort. This means that you will not be able to return to the resort on any other date to utilize the shuttle transportation to return to the airport. If you need assistance with transportation once on site, please visit the Guest Services Desk and they can assist you.
